Bruin was born from a one night tryst between a traveling au ra adventurer and a hyuran woman from the Twelveswood. Desiring a child of her own, Bruin's mother decided to keep the baby and named them after the brown bear the au ra adventurer was so fond of. The Cupid family has been helping the Moogles perform eternal bonding ceremonies for generations. Unfortunately, an attack from a local Garlean base killed her family from Gridania when she was 18; and thus kickstarted her desire to end the imperial invasion by her own damn hands if she had to.

Originally from the A (Antelope) tribe, Box found himself in hot water when it was exposed that he was "befriending" the women of the Lynx tribe without the then-nunh's knowledge. Spurred on by the support of his new-found lovers, Box challenged the then-nunh and was successful in defeating them. Now a nunh of his own, X'box seeks to support the Lynx tribe with his vast knowledge on craftsmanship, and is currently studying in Sharlayan. He enjoys dressing cutely and having fun.

A woman rough around the edges, Captain Vjir (pronounced ve-year) has spent most of their long life pirating the seas. Born at the end of the Age of Strife, Vjir was fascinated by the outside commotion of the neighboring lands. Though interacting with the world beyond the rocky hills was forbidden, as a teenager, they sought out a nearby Lominsan pirate campground situated on the edge of the Dalmascan sea and eagerly joined a pirate crew. Though they soon learned the hard way how even the rules of piracy still lead to a hierarchy. Disgusted by the facade of pledging allegiance to a "city state", Vjir decided to make their new home the ocean-with no ties to anyone. Now an older woman, Captain Vjir steers the ship The Bloody Damnation with as much vigor as their youth and will accept anyone upon their ship so long as they are willing to give up their old life to live a life of the sea.

She was eventually found by The Holy See of Ishgard and charged with heresy after it was revealed that she was the reason Ser Yuhelmeric had turned into an ashkin. Banished and fleeing Ishgard, she now wanders Eorzea willing to assist those who cross her path in exchange for any information on the forgotten city of Mhach.
